Campus Ministers, Hoover Health CL., League Woman Voters, PTA., HACAP, Visiting Nurses Assn., and others. 9. "World Hunger-World Order" Conference arranged by International Law Assn. & College of Law students and co-sponsored by Assn. Campus Ministers, UCCM, Dr. Norman Borlaug featured speaker, Thurs., 8 PM Union, free. Roger helping with this. March 16-17. 10.DRUG CONFERENCE, Des Moines, workshop on Community use of drug abuse info. Roger attending. Arranged by Fred Brinkley, State Drug Abuse Authority. 11. WORKSHOP ON FREE MEDICAL CLINIC: Sat., April 15, 120 N. Dubuque (Wesley Fdn.) Sue Krohmer, general Chmn. Roger working with Comm. to get persons interested in starting Free Med. Clinics in Mid-West. To consider alternate social structures to solve social problems. 12. PENAL REFORM: conversations on how Church, & Campus Ministry can be an inter-face to help make University resources available to prisons & study penal structures. Met: Jan. 29, Drake. Local discussion grps. being formed. Another State mtg. planned in May 13. CHANGING FAMILY STRUCTURE: Reaction Grps. to continue to meet locally. Sally arranged to convene first grp of 24. Met. Bill Sayre, Ed Norbeck, and Roger representing UCCM 16. "IQ, HEREDITY, ENVIRONMENT" issues raised by Hernstein article in Atlantic Monthly, Dec. '71. Coalition interested persons planning Teach-In on this complex issue for all campus, Fri. April 7, 7PMon, At Union. Speakers from areas of sociology, genetics psychology, testing being sought to work with listening-questioning panel. 17 Clergy Consulation on Problem Pregnancies: Counseling cont., Roger involved. Conference March 8, Iowa City, 18. "Iowans for Med. Control of Abortion: inffromational and educational grp to discuss pro-con issues of abortion. Wed. March 15, 7:30 PM, Unitarian Church. Roger on panel with Dr. Johnson, Dr. Winter, and Karen Yarborough. 19. TEACH IN ON HEALTH, with discussion of HMO (HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS) Thur. April 20, 7:30PM by Johnson CO. Health Cl. Roger on Planning Comm. Critical for understanding of new methods in health care. 20. WED BREAKFAST, after Easter, Campus Min, and city clergy informal meetings to discuss "Future of Church". Jim Davison and Roger arranging. 21. INTERNATIONAL TEAS, Fridays, 7-8 PM, Jason Chen for Campus Ministers. Meeting Open Wesley Fdn. 22.
