JUNIOR YEAR ABROAD: distributed information, counseled students, and communicated directly with one student at American University, beirut. (Structural and pastoral ministry. Shively and Simpson involved.) SUMMER PROGRAMMING: "Relevance This Summer." A series of programs for the University jointly sponsored by the Campus Ministries to appeal primarily to public education piople doing summer graduate work. Film Series: "High School," "Nobody Waved Good-Bye", "Zero for Conduct", "Yippie," "Sixteen at Webster Groves." (Prophetic and structural ministries. Shively, Smith involved.) CAMPUS MINISTERS: UNOFFICIAL OMBUDSMEN. Arranged by Campus Ministry Assn. to help find answers about questions raised in U. life. (Structural, pastoral ministry. Shively, co-chairman.) ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION: A number od meetings have been held of this group with impetus gained from "Earth Week" and "Project Survival" (Supra.) (Prophetic and structural ministry. Simpson involved.) DAY CARE: Increased concern for an discussion of this critical social issue ensued as various meetings were held throughout the past year. (Prophetic, structural and pastoral ministries. Smith chiefly involved, with Simpson and Shively assisting.) (More complete report included separately.) STUDENT DEVELOPMENT CENTER: The Campus Ministers, individually, and collectively, have been involved for more than a year with phone calls, letters, meetings and study of the radical changes taking place in the areas of counseling and student affairs. Officially, the University administration has sought such counsel from Campus Ministers. With continuing contact, Campus Ministers may develop more numerous in-depth relations with the University administration and student leaders. (Structural and pastoral ministry. RESIDENCE HALL WORKSHOPS: At the invitation of University administration, Campus Ministers were invited to share in a number of orientation sessions with head residents and dorm advisors. "8 POINT PROGRAM": Campus Ministers and Religious Leaders, jointly, defined an 8-point-program for better community relations and safe, sensible conduct during days of dissension, growing out of the May-day events.
