[handwritten] Peace Feast Press Citizen 3/3/71 [photo of child & woman] Press-Citizen Photos by Joseph Novotny Phil Weston Garth Hospers A tot (upper left) sits on band stage wearing a "necklace" of handcufs. The cuffs went unexplained, except that they carried the message, "Free Vie." [photo] Richard Walker (at left) sits on the tailgate of a panel truck used as storage for confiscated liquor (mostly beer and wine). Walker, a state liquor control agent, relieved a number of the peacefest-goers of their alcoholic beverages before they went on to the university-owned site. The possessions were returned when the owners left the field campus.
