McMahon Ted Downey RENEWALS PAID Dewayne Lamansky Harold Park Ellie Thorman HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF YOU CELEBRATING IN FEBRUARY James Bontrager (Roy's Boy) Jill Lamansky Brett McMahon Steve Handy Ross Lamansky Stephen Spencer Alice Tidwell HELP! In case you haven't noticed, our membership has been steadily decreasing and we are not getting enough new members to compensate for the loss. Our total membership is less now than when the organization started almost 5 years ago. I know there are plenty of eligible single parents in Iowa City that need us and we need them. Only problem is "how do we get them". Think about it. Let's have some ideas - every member get out and recruit or we're going to wind up without an organization at all! Help is also needed on many committees. Of the 30 some members we have, only about 10 people are active. That's not a very good showing is it - it's not fair that these few are doing all the work and seem to be the only ones showing up at the functions too. We know that those of you who aren't active stand to gain from taking part and that we need your help. We've asked you before but we're not too proud to ask again - please - come and join in - offer your help. If we don't all participate we all stand to lose. P W P has helped so many of us - it can help you - come on and give it a chance. You have to give, to get and to gain! Try it!
