From: The campus ministers for American Baptists, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Roman Catholics, United Methodists, United Campus Christian Ministry (Christian Church, Church of the Brethren, Presbyterians, United Church of Christ) To: We invite you to participate in "The World of the New Generation". The Exposure Experience (see enclosed schedule) has been designed for those of us who are concerned about what is happening with youth today, and who would like to sharpen our awareness and understanding. Some of our goals and aims in this experience: - To meet a variety of youth on their own grounds - be involved in various dimensions of young adult culture. - To gain insights into their life styles, values, goals. - To listen to them with genuine openness, but also to share with them about where we are in life. - To talk with one another about our encounters with youth, about our own values and life styles, about what this means for our own involvement with youth and all of society. Details: - There is no charge except for your own dinner Friday night and any drinks or expenses later in the evening. - Participants need to be present for the entire time as scheduled. - Please return the enclosed card immediately. Participation will be limited to a fairly small group and we need to invite someone else if you cannot come. - If there are others you would like to see invited to this kind of experience at some time, please list them on the card. - Dress informally and comfortably.
