Gopher food? DES MOINES (AP) - A gnawing gopher was blamed Thursday for a power outage that stopped most traffic at the Des Moines Municipal Airport for four hours Wednesday night. The gopher chewed into a "rodent-proof" wiring line which carried electricity to the lights on the airport's main runway, said Dean Headley, airport operations supervisor. Air traffic controllers said incoming commercial flights were diverted to other cities, where some passangers spent the night. DI 4/14/72
