of cards along. Now picture the air raid. It's late[[?]] at night and all lights are off. I'm sure no one will need to tell you to leave them off. Now, above all, KEEP CALM. Stay at home. Keep under cover. Those who are married will find the latter[[?]] more difficult than those who are single. The government says that this is so, because two under a table is more difficult procedure[[?]] than one. I dunno. Perhaps it's just like it is better with two than with three in a crowd. Things may get hot after a while. Be sure to have adequate rubber hose[[?]] on hand with a spray nozzle. Bring along a couple buckets, too. Be sure you know the location of the master switches. At any rate, be prepared for anything. Know the location of all needed equipment. No use fumbling and groping in the dark when you're after a certain thing. All this in case of incendiary[[?]] bombs, of course. (Ed. nets[[?]]-- better look out for bombshells, too of especially blonde bombshells. They have been known to be even more devastating than incendiary[[?]] bims[[?]] -- pardon us, bombs.) It's safest to lie down. Also not so[[?]] tiring while waiting for things to pop during a blackout. So the rule is to lie flat. Most men[[?]] have experience at this if they keep late hours around the corner at the bar. Keep cool. Keep calm. That's difficult, but it helps. Why, I don't KNOW, but it helps. Choose a marker[[?]] of the family to be air-raid warden. Mother makes the best. In our house, the little woman explained why. The fast that[[?]] I have been on the make for years was of no consequence. She said.
