Went to Middleton for new lens in car, etc. Frank & K to work again - I packed lunches. Took nap. My elbow still stiff. 34° 48° 1944. Nice sunny day. Up late. Write Kathryn, Sig Took grandma to airport to see a new B29 then to Wash. monument, but a crowd there. Pink roses in bloom at White House. At Hilda's. Heard Victor Borge at Hotel Statler. Disgusted that I can't understand spoken Danish. 32° 50° 1945. Walked to bank in A.M. Hans in D. C. all day, but came home for lunch. UNRRA seems anxious to have him go to China.
