Took Hans' mother to see Lincoln's Monument. Hu Toy for supper then to Fr Hansen's. Home about 10. Mailed pkg to S. Dak. 1945 Baked cloverleaf rolls and bread, fried chicken, broccoli, salad, cranberries, ice cream and frozen peaches. Ellen Story and Grace Saylor here for dinner in eve. Interested in our Florida pictures, and Signe's from India, also her ivory pieces, etc. 38°, 55° 1946. Mild, cloudy. Mailed letter to K - regular mail.
