1948. Baked date cookies in roaster. Busy at library both P.M. + eve. My record no. of books went out-66. 1949. Freshman Science class visited furniture factory so were late getting to Home [Ec?]. Nice demo on China + glass in Sr. class. Walked down town 2:30-(Dr. Marsh will have to take out my bridge!) Began ordering banquet food! Have a cold. 1950. Thru ironing by 9. TO P.O in cold wind. Cut out teal faille suite for spring. 1951. Sunny. Thaw in P.M. I knocked down huge icicles from south eaves. Washed soot from window sills, made 2 holders, mended. Drove to locker for last of pork. Took guild writeup to MTT. Called on [Deone?], who agreed to be pancake supper chair. 1952. Neither of us slept well nor felt very good. I baked bread, melted some 20 lb. honey. Called on "bill" WG Williby in PM.
