January 12

1948. Did huge washing, with [Wittenberg?] bedding the [Eders?] has used and 2 weeks' clothing of Frank's. Ironed a bit. Library board from 1:45, selecting more books. Mrs. [Hasz?], Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Kruse, Baumann, Goth

1949. Semester exams. Freshman from 2:30 to 4. Cold wind in AM but thawed a wee bit of ice on side streets. Corrected papers till nearly 11. They don't average high! Margaret B only one above 90.

1949. We cleaned apt. I baked tutti-frutti rolls. Walked down town, took short nap, Mrs. Murray + Mrs. Johnston here for visit + Chinese tea. look at souvenirs, etc. 3

1951. Some letter. K + I cleaned up apt. Smoothed up [Mdtln?]. Drs. [Co.?] report of 75 years for Mrs. [Offerdobl?]. 9 of us of kitchen planning Comm. here for supper: [Mmes.?] Foster, La Dock, [Kromrey?], Jane Smith, Bryce, [name?], V. Anderson, chase.K. helped plan.

1952. Cleaned stairs + apt. Walked in PM to Norbert Millers + Mrs. Olive gates. (Orders for 4 dresses at hatter). Social call on Mrs. Cooke in Mrs. Hallock's house.
