January 27

1948 Mended, swept floors. 8 carpenters here today. McChesney & Larry & Bonner making window casings. Herb Nole, Fred Goth & Ed O'Connor laying oak flooring.
1949 Walked down town in morning to get things for a luncheon the Sophs cooked in PM. 

1950 Trees all covered with thick coating of ice. Baked bread, cleaned, apt., walked to P.O. twice - at 5:30 with junket tablets to airmail to Kathryn. Hemmed 6 square dish towels, did needlepoint.
Coldest so far. 
1951 Frank home for weekend. We cleaned. I baked cookies. Snowed about 2" - but not blizzard as predicted. Many phone calls - costumes & programs for banquet. 
Got pork at Branch Locker Co. 
1952. Got up 6:15, made dressing, etc. Took coleus for pulpit, taught N. Joyce's S.S. class. 108 at S.S. - at 9:30. Helped dispose of 28 of new church annuals. Sig & K there, also at 12:30 - 4 Owen, Kae, Bobby, 6 mo. old Kathy - birthday cake, chicken, for dinner.
