18º 1948 Oliver + Harold began putting in light fixtures. I got eggs at Williby's + my dragon tray from my trunk at Wittenburgs. T. Farewell party at church for Maple Shetton who leaves tomorrow for Yonkers N.Y. 1949 Joyce Sobek finished her cotton dress. In eve, Jean Kintzer came and we planned women's mtg. for Farmers' Institute Feb 24. Sophs. made wonderful cheese soufflé, also Howard beets + brown Betty. Lard sauce + lemon sauce. We drove home to Middleton after Hans' class. SUNNY 1950. Made filled cookies, went in to Quisling Clinic on 10 AM bus, out at 12:40. Signe came after 2, back on 5:55. She + I walked down town. I washed most of our windows on outside, with gloves on part of time! 46º 1951 Warmest this year so far. K + I went to church. 12 in adult S.S> class. Sig came at 2. We played 500 + Canasta. Howie + Laura here. Hans + I at Rabe + Olson's a few minutes. Wrote Marie Radtke. 35º 1952 Sunny, nice. I helped Hans 3 hrs. in AM. - got OP. S reports out, drove to Brauch in PM. Greta M. wants guild to get material for 6 or 7 white choir robes. Geo. Hafstad here in eve. Used personal check for first for F.F. coat for me dress for Deloris.
