MARCH 28 1948. K and I at Easter sunrise service and breakfast at church. Frank is at Epworth and Maquoketa today. We helped Hans paste down linoleum in upstairs kitchen. Read much in Miracle of the Bells. 1949. Co. Supt. visited me - during Home Ec. 9 as Hot lunch inspector. Sophs. did practice test in cookery. Slept an hr. or more after school, as I didn't sleep till nearly 1 last night - indigestion. 1950. Finished 2 choir robes, did some needlepoint, walked downtown. Hans went to Janesville for 4 days. In eve Frank and I saw "Seabiscuit" and "Tell it to the Judge" 1951 Hans drove to Princeton, Green Lake Co. I worked on needlepoint. In P.M. rode with Alice Olson to church, where Deone, Janet L, Pat Kenyon and I polished furniture. Had much phoning to do in eve. Thick fog in eve. 1952 Shampooed my hair in rainwater, did some cleaning, and the ironing and mending. Worked on journal at Branch Co. 2 hrs. or so. Frank and K. home in eve. Wrote some letters. At Hillside Greenhouse to see Mrs. Miller
