APRIL 18
1948 Hans and I walked to church. I took Mrs. Cornwell's class of 13! Nice lunch. Weidemann's here for 7 PM supper and till 9:30.
1949. Felt O.K. so waxed stairs and hall, baked oatmeal cookies, made pr. pillowcase protectors, sewed up blouse. Joyce Sobek came out from Madison on 4:10 bus. Supper c us. Hans in Madison all day and slept while I drove to Muscoda.
1950 Much cooler. Ironed, mended. Frank and I got [dr.?] milk at Pet Milk Co., NH4NO3 and Vigiro at Coop. Finished reading Hargroves' "Something's Got to Give". 
1951. Slept well - from 12:15 to 6:30 but tired from a too-strenuous week. Baked bread. Slept 1 1/2 hrs in P.M. In eve walked to H.S. and to hear Prof. Ziegler talk and show landscaping pics. Carrie and E. [D?] Littenburg brought me home.
74 degrees 1952 Back ached but waxed kitchen floor and raked NE curb and burned flower stalks. Worked 2 hrs. on Branch accts., changed hospital insurance to personal. To church mtg at 8.
