APRIL 29
1948. Walked downtown twice. Finally sent S.S. pkg to K.T. Woo. Packed trunk full of old rayon and threads. Hilda was "babysitter" at Dr. McDermid's all day.
1949 Another nice sunny day - Had 17 absences! Most of them were at Music Tournament at Lancaster. With only 2 periods in PM. Nursery school schedule was all out of line. Srs. made salads- Slept an hr. after school. An evening in apt. once.
1950 Baked bread and cake. Hans for checkup at Dr. Weston - some high blood pressure. My left shoulder hurt badly awhile. Nap. Planted sweet peas (sprouted), finished filling hall crax.
74 degrees 1951. K and I to church. Hans had S.S. class. Read in "Age of Faith". Nap. Hans and I on errand to Wierwill's at 6:30 -stayed till 10!
1952. Up at 5:30 to get Frank's breakfast. Baked oatmeal cookies. Got FF order from Mrs. Rosien and Betty. Took Deone and Janet Rabe to Homemakers' Achievement Day in 1st Cong. Church. Julle Krause of Stuttgart talked. Frank, Tony and wife to Rockford in my Ford.
