1946. Showers - should be 16
Hans attended International Rel. Institute at Madison Library AM and PM. I went along in PM to hear Errol Elliott. H.S. Baccalaureate at church in AM - Him our adult S.S. class. "Fun Party" at church in eve in charge of Kenyon's. Treasure Hunt, etc.
1949. In bed till 9, as back hurt. Called on Oskar and Camilla. Picnic. Dinner at Jess Poole's, in house, fortunately. Left at 3, took Mother S home. Picked up Alice L at Lancaster. I drove 40 [mi?].
1950. K. hung out line and reel full, which dried fine. I helped her paint 9 screens, also painted legs of Signe's dressing - stool cream. Ironed an hr., got mail. Hans home in eve.
87 degrees 1951. Shut off furnace. Awoke after 4. Ironed, made cookies, went downtown, slept an hr., arranged for ushers, chairs, etc. 100 at Guest Night at Guild. Wore organdy. Good talk on Switzerland with pics. Helped comm. wash dishes till after 12. Slight sore.
1952. Baked 4 loaves bread, ironed, downtown twice. Nap. Planted onion sets and 2 rows limas. Painted a screen, also K and I a parsonage storm window in eve. Made up 50# sugar into bee syrup for Frank. Hallock's here in eve. Dan's to move to VA.
