1948. Heard trial preached, James Stabines. 4 in S.S. class - Hilda took Mildred to P.M. train. Hans + Jim Walters hauled sods all day. Dan, Ellen + Jeanie, + Mrs. H Agne's Cuff + Sig Here for supper. 1949. Felt better because of PM in Harry's sunshine. Long strenuous day checking pupils record + report cards (latter with rest of HS faculty). Gave 1 exam. To library in eve, instead of going to 8" grade graduation. Last hot lunch. 1950. W. at 5. Hans + Frank left at 6:30. At 7 Mrs. Blaschke, her sister Mrs. J A Raffaelle of Barneveld Mrs Kruse + Mrs Backhahm came for me. To Cambria to Dist. Woman's Club mtg. Heard Walter Kohler. Welsh chorus. 72º 1951. Slept 8 hrs. UP at 6, worked a bit tho garden + grass very wet. Sat in sun to write Marie German letter. Baked white bread. Back tired out so took nap. Transplanted pansies in eve. 1 1/4" rain in night. 1952. Packed box mostly Kromrey's clothes and sent to Fniep's. Saw heating engineer at MG + E Co., Dr. Weston, Dr. Harned - nap then painted more frames + a screen. 4 men working today. Set out rose in north bed. Readied circulars in eve.
