OCTOBER 26 1948. A lovely day - too nice to be indoors. Walked downtown after school. Mrs. Mitchell took "the Scott girls" to Woman's Club at Rev. Levin's. Subject: Wis. Pioneers. 25 degrees 1949. Put in hem in coat, trim on hat, etc. Dora gave me pr. ear rings. I drove Kromrey's car to Kenyon's then to tea in Herbert Jacobs home, 200 there. I poured 1 hr. Home with Weirwill's. Signe out in eve. 1950. Slept 7 unbroken hours, but got up tired and had to sleep some in AM. Cleaned apt. In P.M. Deone R, Mrs. Hofstad and Karen, and Edith Kromrey here to work on bazaar plans. I served tea (Deone brought cookies). To see Mary Sholts in eve. 1951. Cooler. Vacuumed rug and stairs. Bad ache in my back, besides being awake 1:30-4. Didn't go to Co. G. F.W.C, tho Mrs. Blaschke asked me. Hilda drove to Sig's 5:30. All 3 girls, Marie Loving, Marian Dunn and here for Colo. Wash. Flo and Europe pics in eve Summery day. 1952. Breakfast at Leslies, saw Geo. Mary Fred and Logan, to church in WL with L and Bertha - heard new pipe organ. Dinner and PM at George's. They viewed my pics, inc. Seattle. Supper and eve at Pat's. Couldn't locate Margaret F. Wore nylon dress - no wrap.
