NOVEMBER 9 1948 Drizzly day, turning to snow, Shanghai style. Had charge of all girls 10", 11", 12" grades, in seeing movie "Human Reproduction". To Woman's Club in eve at Mrs. Frase's. She had a Grieg program. Went with Mrs. Scott and Rubisch. 1949 Ironed. We got groceries then packed box for Marie Radtke and mailed it. We worked on articles for Wallaces' Farmer. Am sending out requests for parcels for Guild bazaar. 1950 Very cool. Doris Buehler and I washed all basement windows at church. I did outside ones and put storm windows on. Tired. Nap. To dinner comm. for bazaar at Kromrey's. We changed from planned Smorgasbord to an "International" turkey dinner. 1951. Esther Kal and I gave up Guild sewing for Georgia Kenyon's wedding on Thanksgiving. Vacuumed, baked brown bread. A call in AM. 1952 Awake 12:30 to 3 then slept till 7. Made a blueberry and a custard pie for Men's ham dinner, which Kromrey's and Deone Rabe took down. Called on Anna May and Ruth. Sig here a little white. Frank went to Jackson Co. north of Tomah and bought 80 acres of land such as it is.
