NOVEMBER 14 1948. Got to Leslie about 12:15 AM. Slept till 7. Visit + breakfast with Leslie, Bertha + Chas (home from Mt. Pleasant Wesleyan). Dinner at George's, where all were home. - pheasant; corn + red raspberries from their big locker. Drove home 4-9. Hans + I ground 4# cranberries. 34[degrees] 1949 Slept 9 hours! Made apple jelly, seamed last 4 pr. pillowcases at ends, stamped 3 pr. For embroidery, took 1 pr. to Mary Sholts. Packed box of chocolate, coffee, fudge cake mix, plastic cup + rattle. + aluminum pie tin for Denmark folks - in Christmas wrappings. Walked to P.O. twice. Skiff of snow in eve. 1950 Ironed, canned 4 pt. cranberries, baked bread (+ rolls which I put in traveling basket for Guild + took to Lange's) made green apron for bazaar + started another 4 yr. dress. Walked downtown. 1951 Washed, but had today most of it in basement. Baked white bread. Took boxes to Denmark + Marie R. to P.O. at noon. Too tired to go to Homemaker's Club. 60[degrees]+ 1952. Vacuumed, cleaned K. cabinet, putting in new spice rack. Washed car, packed _ sent pkg to [Knieps?]. At Branch a while. Took Christmas cards to Bauman's (saw new house) + Mel Jacobsen's. Finished reading "Grandma Moses'". Ella ordered dress.
