NOVEMBER 17 1948. Reviewed 2 classes on 6 weeks' work. Left about 3:15 - too much basketball. Last evening class. Ave. for 10 weeks - 12.6 1949. Slept 9 hrs or more! Snow in air nearly all day. I walked to P.O. 3 times - sent S WISCONSIN cheese to Bess for L.A. Began emb. tray cloth + second side of potholder. Bazaar comm. mtg. here in eve: Hazel Avis, E Cornwell, Vergie Anderson, + Ruth Pierstorff served tea. 1950 Breakfast for Frank, Dale Kelley + pal from Ames, then the 3 went deer hunting. I cleaned the house. Hans home at 5 from week at Chilton. 1951. Got sanseveria at Cath. bazaar: PM. Busy day - cleaned hall, polished brassware, made sour cream cookies, finished needlepoint + fastened it on chair seat (Sig helping). She was here for chicken supper. Deone + Pearl Foss here. We made bazaar chm. Inch of rain! 1952. At Branch office to get books up to date. Wrote up news for paper, got some paint, went to Stoughton about 11. Lunch with Patty + Constance. 3 mo. adopted boy. Constance came home with me. We looked at pics thru Marion's viewer.
