NOVEMBER 18 1948 Gave 6 wks. exams to Freshman + Sr. classes + corrected all 39 papers. 1949. Mended, embroidered, walked to P.O. 3 times, made out last year's adult class report in hope to get my pay! Baked quick applekuchen. Went to call on Mrs. Lang in eve - not at home. 1950 Hans + I packed + sent Christmas box to Elfrieda. - our 4th abroad. K helped clean. Baked sponge cake for ice cream roll. Geo. + Mary came from Aurora, Ill. - their first time in Wis Sig + Owen here for supper - chicken, squash, asparagus, pear jello, etc. 1951 Awake mostly from 4:30. Drove to church, but didn't stay for S.S. as I felt bum. Nap + looking up ch. pics, etc. in P.M. Wrote German letter to Marie Radtke in eve. 1952. I slept on cot part of night. Constance + I thru new house, to Madison, the capitol, etc. Paid for furnaces. In eve I showed pics taken in Wash. I took some + Hilda some. To Guild. Flattering introduction by Mrs. Louise Summers!
