DECEMBER 12
1948. At Church 36 new members were taken in - the Williby's, Davis', La Rock's, Geo. MacLean's, etc. Kathryn came home from Buck Hill Falls, Pa. after being commissioned by Board of Foreign Missions. Signe out for day. We came to Muscoda about 6. Tummy ache.
1949 Dropped 40 degrees from yesterday's record-breaking temp. for Dec. Cold wind. I walked down town twice, got 20 Christmas cards with Hans and my snap on. Sent out 16 cards. Baked bread, crocheted. Sat in sunny south "sitting room".
1950. Huge washing - water wasn't softened much. K hung line full outdoors and reel full in garage.
13 degrees ave. 1951 Cut out and made Hans plaid flannel night shirt. Worked on Christmas cards. Hans got load of lumber from north - but reeled off at Middleton Jct! Walked downtown. Made pies for Hans
1952. Did not sleep 3 to 5 - first time for weeks. Felt punk AM, but went downtown. To office in PM, called on Doris B.
