Memoranda 1919. More snow in February than any other month this winter, then not so very much either. August has rented 150 A to crop, of Wm. Gunderson, 8 miles west of town. 1920. More snow around Maquoketa than at W.L. Hans and I finally get located on a farm, Old Whitney's 200 acre farm in Clinton County, 7 miles from Maquoketa. 1921. No snow, only a few flurries that sometimes lasted over night. Very mild winter. Hilda weighs 31# pounds at 23 months.
