December 2 1917. We went to church twice. Anderson also talked in eve. Read "Dr. Grenfell's Parish" by Norman Duncan. Wrote to mamma. A grey day, with slippery walks. 1918. Heavy cold makes me weak. I lengthened striped gingham dress skirt and cut out unbleached muslin peasant dress for Beatrice and cross stitched a design around neck of it. Crocheted on ecru collar. 1919. Living in dirt along with the packing. 1920. Ripped up old plaid jacket of Helen's and cut out a dress from it for Hilda. Also did some pressing. Baked apple pies. Announcement of Constance and Jim's marriage Nov 27. 19
