JANUARY 9 Mrs. Keyes and George Brosessel and Mrs. George Bradley called on errands. Hemmed up and fixed over old wool dress for warm everyday one for K. Girls helped with washing, hanging most in attic. Kathryn baked cookies, then went coasting. Hilda laid up with blackeye & swollen face from coasting into fence. 6° and a light snow in A.M. Wrote Anna Spatt Sunny P.M. Kathryn teaching a S.S. class of girls. Corinne and Mary Jane here in P.M. Signe led Epworth League on "How to Select Good Radio Programs." Shower in morning. Wrote Helen, Tante Emma. Hans off to Faribault, Minn. Ripped up Hans' trousers he sat thru.
