FEBRUARY 8 1936 Hans overnight at Buckhom, then got stormstaid in Mag! Snowy all day, windy, much colder in P.M. Ironed and mended. 1937 -5°. Blew my nose all day. Mended hose. Attending Farm Home Week on WOI. Hans left for all week. I had charge of program at WFMS at W.B. Miller's. 16 there. Finished Congo [Crosser"?] 1938 day to work at home again - baked cake, bread, and beans, made yeast; mended. Up to 40°. Water standing in all low places. McFarland at 4. Wrote Frank. 1939 Breakfast for 6. Paul off for Columbus, Galena, etc. About 10°. Skiff of snow overnight = washed, napped more than an hour! Crocheted on rug. Wrote 7.
