FEBRUARY 17 1936. Ethel Scott is to have charge of lunches this week - so had some! Washed. At declam. in eve. Hilda 1st in, oratorical. Signe 2d. in dramatic. Kathryn 2d in humorous. 1937 Didn't sleep well, so after dinner, took nap. Went to WHMS at Mrs. Wilkisson's. Ice cream, etc. in honor of Mrs. Z. Kidder's birthday. Took Mrs. C. Ron home. Snowy 1938 Was awake much of latter part of night with indigestion. Didn't do much but bake a big batch of bread. Finish first "Scottie" in cross stitch on tea towel. Wrote Pauline 1939. To Mrs. Wolf's + Helen Johnson's very briefly, also Dr. Quisling, Dollar Day, Got Hilda $5 coat. Home for lunch + 2 hour nap! was tired. Began reading "Genghis Khan" 19
