MARCH 4 1936 Ironed, mended Hilda played in basketball tournament vs Garnavillo, at Monona & lost - Signe also went, her first trip with the team 1936. In Dubuque with Hans from 10-1/4, I shopped. Saw film "Iowa Gold" then went to library bird room for Co. S.S. Council mtg. All at church nite supper. 1938. Sent notes to Pauline & Hans. Snow in night and intermittently during AM. Drizzle in PM made driving bad, so we stayed home from church supper. Crocheted on pillowcase edge, wrote Frozen Foods for FWRS 1939 Did Hans' washing & Kathryn baked bread, Signe cake, & cookies. To Middleton twice in PM 19
