March 17 Ironed, baked 28 cloverleaf rolls & big roaster of esc. potatoes for girls' Q.E. St. Patrick tea at church. Comm. mtg. for Easter program at Frances Bradley's. Baked whole wheat raisin bread. Headache & backache. Was "America" in W.H.M.S. play at Alice Ross' in P.M. Didn't stay for supper. Uncle Chris & I at N.W. station from midnight to 15. Hans missed train (because his plane couldn't land at Chicago for fog) Home at 2:00 A.M. Pauline, Chris & I on conducted tour thru Capitol, drove around Univ. & he & I in museum an hour. (16th). Hans came on 12:50 & drove his car home from College. Went to McFarland & Madison with him. 4° Finally sent in radio script to Mrs. Hozard, also cards to Edna & Lillian Maxwell, Bertha, Alice [Morganson?]. Still in bed. Hilda left Sig in town!
