AUGUST 25 1936. Mrs. C. and Eileen went to Dubuque with Signe and me. Finished packing box of State Fair jars and other arrangements. Ironed. Practised in eve. Got our free Fair tickets. 1937. More packing and apple canning in A.M. Frank and I went to Dyersville in P.M. Mrs. W.B. Miller here in eve. 1938. So cool I wore wool coat all day. 6 interviews in Clark Co. Breakfast at cafe, lunch in front of abandoned house far from town. Drove to Oshkosh in showers part of way. Cabin. 1939. Hilda, Signe, K and I Ieft at 7:30, arriving at Epworth at 11. Dinner at Aitchison's. Mrs. in bed for 6 wks - Called on Mrs. Reed, Edna Maxwell, Jennie M. and Sophia M. Supper and overnight at Pauline's. Rita and Dorothy Janssen gave their dem. in eve. 19
