stain which rests upon our nation. execute heon[?] - and to secure to the whole population of the united States all the righst and privileges which belong to them as men and Americans Come what may to our persons our interests our reputation whether we live to witness the triumphs of liberty justice and humanity or persist ultimately[?] as martyrs in this great benevolent and holy cause one motion the meeting adjourned till six oclock this evening The meeting convened according to adjournment Will[?] Mcblure appointed to occupy the chair in the absence of the president the folowing resolutions was presented and after much discussion unanimously adopted Resolved that the time in the history of this territory how arrived when anti slavery men should use their influence at the polls
