PAGE EIGHT THE DAILY IOWAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA Wednesday, September 18, 1918 STUDENTS' ARMY TO DOMINATE CAMPUS only those who do not do good work into the cantonments as privates. Still Society and Athletics In spite of the stuff schedule of the S.A.T.C., social affairs and athletics will not be neglected. Extra efforts will be put forth in both these directions. More women are expected at the University this year than ever before, and many executive and social duties will fall to them. The women's gymnasium, the only girls building to be taken over for the S.A.T.C., will be occupied by the men only for the first quarter while physical education for women is being conducted out of doors. Barracks or other quarter will be provided for the men by that time. IOWA SQUAD WILL PLAY THE SAILORS Grove, full back; and Glenn Greenwood of Webster City, tackle. Captain Ronald Reed of Waterloo will be back to lead his men. Although he expects to go to a field artillery school, he hopes to finish the football season first. Another promising man is Frank Slater, the big negro tackle from Clinton.
