read that at the age of twenty while he was in college one of the professors or prominent business men became interested in him - through what?, why his accomplishments, his fine character, high ideals, etc - and took him into his house and boarded and lodged him (and bought him a new suit of clothes) for the remainder of his college career, you would strongly exclaim that thru adherence to the "best" this man had progressed in the world; that most of a certainty it was just and fine that he should have been helped along - even tho he only fired the furnace as a tangible means of return for the beneficence extended. Suppose Ben had rec'd that $500 scholarship given by John P. Webster. You would have said isn't that fine of that man that he should want to help deserving boys along. Would you have
