Dean Phillips tomorrow and arange tha date for the interview. I told him that I didn't know for sure whether I wanted to go into business or professional school but that certainly I was interested and would like to talk to the pers. director. So tomorrow I should have a very interesting chat with the company's representative. Maruth mentioned that scholarship came first extra curricular activities second and then personality and so forth. Such a statement makes it kind of hard for me to stick to the convictions I enumerated in my last letter regards grades. Perhaps a happy medium can be worked out. The more I talk to this guy Anderson the more I like him. Certainly he is the first coach that I have been able to see eye to eye with on his football views. Perhaps my outlook and judgement of him will change as the weeks wear on but I hope not. Mike Enich and I are going up to Mason City and Cedar Rapids on alittle two day jaunt with Anderson and colleagues--banquets and so forth. I don't want to be gone for that length of time very badly but I guess I might as well help in the small way I can to get him off on the right foot. Besides if I have to speak it will be "good experience" Where have I heard that before? I guess this will be all for now. Yours, Nile P:S: Last nite I heard Babin & Veronsky a Russian piano team perform for a couple of hours. It was good entertainment tho I think beyond my humbe capacity to fully appreciate. Next week I plan to hear the St. Louis Symphony under the direction of Vladimir Golshman. Yours Nile Congratulations, mother, I know you will do a good job & benefit immeasurably yourself.
