Monday Feb. 27-'39 Dear George: Your letter was the source of much interest to me. The tenor and contents of your epistle shows a normal growth and development in athletics and along social lines. Certainly, that is as it should be; and I am happy and proud of you. But, little pal, your written expression and rhetorical construction is nothing to brag about. I am enclosing your letter and I want you to take a look at that first sentence. Also notice your poor punctuation (lack of periods and capitalization) and the spelling of ventriloquist.
