Nile C. Kinnick, Jr. Phi Kappa Psi House Iowa City, Iowa Thursday 3/22/39 Dear Family, I am writing on the assumption that you still live in Omaha and have not written because of a sore arm or some other similar excuse. Spring football has set in in dead earnest now. Despite the heat of the past few days we have been working harder than ever. I must admit that I would much prefer playing golf, however, the joy of playing under a coaching staff which is excellent and using a system with infinite possibilities which seems to be made for me in a large measure compensates for the disadvantages. My passing
