is still very good, but my kicking is not going quite as well as I should like it. There is no reason why it shouldn't straighten out in the next few days, however. I am so completely busy all the time that I hardly have any time for concentrated study. Nevertheless, I repeat that this semester shall be replete with educational advancement. It is, of course, somewhat disappointing to realize that my grades are slipping; yet under the circumstances I can't see that I can do anything about it, and if I could I am not so sure that I would change my tactics. This is not a camouflage for laziness or a sop for wounded pride but a frank statement of honest evaluation.
