NEBRASKA CONSOLIDATED MILLS COMPANY OMAHA.NEBRASKA March 23, 1939 Mr. Nile Kinnick Jr. Phi Kappa Psi House Iowa City, Iowa Dear Nile: I am pleased to acknowledge receipt of your letter of March 19th, in regard to the position that we hope we will be able to offer you. Every summer, we figure on doing a certain amount of farm canvass work. This means selling flour for our retail distributors, to the farmers, and it has worked out very satisfactorily, as we do not expect to sell any more than one barrel of flour to a farmer, and usually are able to sell from 100 to 200 sacks of flour each week. This of course means Nile, that you would be away from home quite a lot, and it is just possible that you would not care to take the position. If you have positively made up your mind that you would want to stay in Omaha this summer, I will be very glad to get in touch with some of the grain firms that possibly might he looking for additional help during the rush season when the wheat is moving into the market here. With kindest regards, I am Sincerely, NEBRASKA CONSOLIDATED MILLS CO. BY: JHWeaver JHW.MS
