I had the courage to drop basketball and that everything connected therewith has worked out so nicely. My fraternity affiliation has been somewhat of a disappointment and yet not a bitter disillusionment for I wasn't expecting too much. I regret that I must regard the whole organization as a center of hypocrisy and sham; inasmuch as I judge the setup not worth the effort of attempted remedy. I think I shall graciously and discreetly slip into the background. It has provided me the opportunity to meet more girls - in that respect it has aided me - but that a fraternity - as I know them - should of necessity be the vehicle to such acquaintances I lament.
