Dear Bob:
It is about the time of year tliat the Kinnick
boys wonder how they are going to get home with
their duffle, and the same thought occurs to me.
Nile has written us that he will be ready to sail
on the 1st, which is a week from next Thursday, and
he suggested the possibility of you or someone in
Adel, driving down to Iowa City for him.
I am going to be in Ames on the 31st, and will be
in Greenfield on the 1st. Therefore, I am writing
this note to you, asking if there is a possibilty
of you being free on the 1st and if you would be
interested in a deal of this sort.  If so, I will
drive our sedan on that trip and will stay in Adel
on the night of the 31st. Then I will leave that
car with you for the round trip to IC on the 1st,
and Nile could drive it on to Omaha, possibly on
the 2nd. Another chap from the Bank will have a
car, and he can pick me up on his way to Greenfield
Thursday morning, and will carry me back to Omaha.
If this suggestion meets a response in your schedule
and itinerary, will you please drop me a line.
Ben won't be ready to roll until about the 9th, so
he isn't in this deal.

If some booncompanion is free on the 1st, I don't
see why you shouldn't take company with you, tho
someone would have to ride among the baggage in
the back seat on the return trip.
