[May, 1939] Saturday Dear Family: And now the time comes to figure out how I shall get home. Bob's folks are coming after him but he feels obligated to ask Dick Pehle (the boy who brought us home at spring vacation time) to ride home with them and I am afraid I would crowd them unduly. However, possibly something can be worked out in this direction or maybe Rick Grest would take me for a consideration. I'll inquire into these possibilities & let you know as soon as I can. I'll be ready to go home on June 1st. If neither one of these possibilities work out mother might drive to Adel & get Stacy or someone to come the rest of the way with the car. If it weren't for a good many books & three suits
