Beloved: contin'd in the basement with not much air. When it really gets hot it will be swell. However I repeat don't come tearing down here but give me your mental support & everything will work out ok. The first nite which by the way was also the worst meal put me in a depressed mood. I raved on to Bob at quite a tempo. I am glad I didn't dampen his ardor for the whole University. I was never so sure as right now that I want a known quantity for a roommate this fall. It is pretty hard to get anybody to take my place on supper dishes but I am going to try to get to Cedar Rapids this weekend. While I think I better stick this out for 2 or 3 weeks at least, after that I would like to work in Cedar R. if I could make anything. I'll write you what I find out & if that doesn't pan out maybe something in Omaha will. Tell Ben to make & save all he can. If he can get Bob a job threshing somewhere have him do it. It seems to me that I'll have to stay at least 2 or 3 weeks & then
