[ca Sept 4, 1938] Iowa Alpha Phi Kappa Psi 830 North Dubuque Iowa City, Iowa Sunday Dear Mother:- I am all settled in the "House" with McCambridge & Humphrey. I feel quite at home and am sure that Bob & I will enjoy living out here. The room has a rug and curtains so please tell Bob that he doesn't need to worry on that score. Also tell him he doesn't need to bring bed linen - "that is for lowly freshmen", quote I got by my physical ok. I gathered that my b. pressure was still a little high but much better than last year. I feel fine and ready to go. The competition is going to be plenty tough but that is ok - may the best man win. It really looks like we
