it seems my work is done but the belief attempts to linger although it is better each day. I suspect I saw 25 or 30 people I knew after the game yesterday. There were camp kids by the dozen; Bob Merriam, Bill Macy, Les Dohr, Doc Monilaw, Harlan Wilson, Mr. & Mrs. Buck, etc. Also Mr. and Mr. Egloff came down to the game, bless them, and took me out to dinner and show afterwards. One's friends are a constant source of joy. I also ran into a young fellow by the name of Bittner who was a Beta at Ames when you were still quite active in fraternity affairs
