[Nov. 2, 1938] Wed. noon Dear Family: Thank you for the extra money; I should be "set" for this semester, now. The weekend went off pretty well. Bob & I were initiated without mishap and are now brothers in the bond. The tea was pretty much a success and even I entered into the spirit of it. Sat. nite I had a good time at the Delta Gamma party, also. The above makes it sound as if everything were "hunky-dory." Well "mebbe so and mebbe not." The studies are definitely not going quite as good as usual. However,
