[Nov 30, 1938] Wednesday 5:30 P:M: Dear Family: I have time to dash off a few lines before I go to my beloved board job. Its been quite awhile since I have written but there has been little of interest to impart. Yesterday afternoon the new coaches arrived amid much fanfare & enthusiasm. Before a large and spirited student gathering they were presented from the steps of old capitol. I met and talked with them only briefly. Head coach Anderson impressed me very favorably. Both he and I took an immediate liking & respect for each other I am quite confident. His assistants are quite inferior to him in polish and appearance, however, they seemed alright and probably
