THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY 20J OLD MAIN BUILDING UNIVERSITY PARK, PENNSYLVANIA 160O2 June 8, 1972 Jack Moyers, M.D., Chairman Board in Control of Athletics University Hospitals Iowa City, Iowa 52240 Dear Dr. Moyers: Some staff friends here, because of my membership in Phi Kappa Psi at Depauw, have brought to my attention the consideration being given at Iowa to naming the stadium for Nile Kinnick, Jr. I an glad to add my endorsement of this possibility, knowing that many and various factors must enter into such decisions. Certainly thousands of persons remember the remarkable performance record of Nile and would be gratified at the recognition given to a man displaying his leadership and courage. Sincerely, John K.
