we shall be in on the European invasion come summer. In any event keep what you learn pretty much in the lodge. A letter from Fred states that he had a good note from Bob Hobbs mailed at New Caledonia. Why the rest of us haven't heard I don't know. My difficulty with gunnery is as much of a puzzle to me as to you,Gus. However, things go better now, I believe. I got 15 hits the other day which isn't bad. Besides Butch O'Hare was just fair on the sleeve, but look what he did!? As for the Churchill writings, I would like to have you buy "Roving Commission," and "World Crisis" (1 vol.ed.) The three titles I have indicated with a question mark you might get a little later on, but the extensive work on "Marlborough" and the other volumes on the "World Crisis" we'll forget about for awhile. Please do complete my set of Sandburg's biography of Lincoln and look into the other volume you mention containing all his known writings. I do already have one book of that sort. Be sure it isn't the same, or too similar. I agree that we best let the land investment idea slide. Have contacted Frank Williams and expect to let you know his advice soon. Should I leave without doing so, feel free to deal with the man you know in Omaha.
